Coronavirus Pandemic affect on LCC

Dear Member

The start of the new season has been hampered by the Coronavirus Pandemic which has affected all aspects of everyday life, with restrictions on movement. The Welsh Government announced today that they have decided to lift further restrictions on Outdoor activities. As far as Croquet is concerned we are able to resume play at the club. However there are still certain restrictions in place, with regard to gatherings and social distancing.

With this in mind we would like to provide the following guidance:-

Members of only 2 households can play on each half lawn at anyone time, (Note: 2 couples can play).
Members not allowed to congregate in the clubhouse.
Social Distancing of 2 metres is required.
Members encouraged to wash hands frequently and use the hand sanitizers provided at the club.
It is suggested that you avoid using pegs, and marbles as we are not planning to regularly wash these items
Due to the limited number of players allowed on a lawn please do not turn up to play without firstly speaking to Dave Palser or myself who will be coordinating play.

Just as soon as we can get back to normal play at the club we plan to arrange the first of this season's
'Fun Competition Day's'
